Nat'l Family Caregivers Month
2022-2024: Developed and executed the strategy, research, and content for Givers' flagship annual campaign for National Family Caregivers Month, anchored by the largest nationwide family caregiver survey (n=1,000). Over three years, transformed this initiative into a cornerstone of our thought leadership that elevated the financial impact of family caregiving in the national conversation, from a rarely-covered topic to a central campaign issue for both presidential candidates by 2024.
Campaign evolution:
2022: "#CaregivingHappens" – Positioned the economic reality of caregiving during inflation, revealing 42% of caregivers took on debt
2023: "#CaregiversConnect" – Focused on connection to resources and support systems, highlighting barriers to access
2024: "I Care" – Emphasized caregiver identity and self-recognition as the first step to finding support
Each campaign combined original survey data, strategic storytelling, and policy advocacy to drive measurable impact in public awareness and legislative action.
